Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line pan with parchment paper.
- Wash, peel and core pears.
- In a bowl combine cinnamon and sugar and place in circle on the lined pan.
- Brush apples with butter, then wrap in a square of pastry dough sealing around the apple. Place cut side down over the cinnamon and sugar.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Baste the pastry dough in the now caramel and allow to set to caramelize.
- Top with vegan ice cream, pecans and my brown butter salted caramel!
Notes
You can easily make more than 3 pears, simply double the recipe. 1 sheet of pastry dough will allow you to make 6 to 9.
