Ingredients

  • 4 large heads garlic, cloves separated and peeled
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 sprigs oregano or rosemary

 


Instructions

 

  1. Prehehat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small baking dish, combine the garlic cloves, oil, and herbs.
  3. Bake until garlic is tender, 20 – 30 minutes. The garlic is done when the cloves are golden, soft, and jammy.
  4. Store the confit in a clean jar. Refrigerate; use within 2 weeks.
