- 1 1/4 cup white flour
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp espresso powder (optional)
- 1 cup almond milk, room temp
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp tahini
- 3/4 cup vegan stevia sweetened chocolate chips
- 2 tsps flake salt, garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl combine your cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder white flour, white sugar. Be sure to not pack your flour.
- In a bowl combine your room temp almond milk and tahini, whisk to combine. Make sure it’s the liquid tahini, not the solid so much. If it starts to clump pop in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds and combine. Repeat if needed.
- Add your wet to the dry ingredients and gently combine. Don’t over mix.
- Add the batter to a well greased loaf pan or line with parchment paper for easier removal. Smooth out the top and garnish with the stevia sweetened chocolate chips. Place a tin foil tent over the top of the pan for half the baking time, then remove.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted in the middle and comes out clean. Garnish with flake salt once removed from the oven and allow to fully cool before slicing.
