Tucked away in Cabin John, Capos Deli is one of those hidden gems that instantly wins you over with its incredible food and welcoming vibe. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or picking up dinner to take home, this spot knows how to do deli classics right. From the first time I visited, I could tell they take pride in not only the quality of their food but also in creating that cozy, neighborhood feel that keeps you coming back. Being a transplant from New York City, I was on the search for a deli that delivers, and Capo’s does!

One of the stars of the menu has to be the meatball sub. It’s everything you want in a classic Italian-American sandwich—juicy, tender meatballs smothered in rich tomato sauce, topped with melted cheese, and tucked into perfectly fresh bread that holds it all together. It’s the kind of sub that’s comforting, hearty, and just messy enough to remind you it’s the real deal. On another visit, I tried the Italian sub, and it was equally impressive. Layered with savory deli meats, cheese, and crisp veggies, it had that perfect balance of flavors that makes it stand out from your typical sandwich shop.

If you’re looking for something on the lighter side, the turkey sub is a fantastic option. It’s fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, making it satisfying without feeling heavy.
