Great Wolf Lodge in Maryland

We recently stayed at the new Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD, and had an absolutely incredible time! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and the excitement on our kids’ faces said it all—they were ready for a great adventure, and Great Wolf Lodge did not disappoint.

The indoor water park is the highlight of the experience. There were so many different attractions that we spent hours exploring. Our kids loved the wave pool, water slides, and lazy river, while our youngest couldn’t get enough of the splash area designed just for smaller children. The lifeguards were attentive and safety was clearly a priority, which helped us relax and enjoy the day.

The fun didn’t stop at the water park. The resort has so many activities for all ages—our kids were over the moon about the MagiQuest adventure, where they got to use wands to solve mysteries around the lodge. We also enjoyed the arcade, mini-bowling, and the Build-A-Bear Workshop, which allowed them to bring home a new cuddly friend to remember the trip. The nightly story time in the Grand Lobby was a great way to wind down after a day full of excitement, and seeing the Great Wolf Lodge characters brought extra smiles.

Our room was clean, spacious, and perfect for families. We stayed in a themed Wolf Den Suite, and the kids were thrilled to have their own special space complete with bunk beds and forest-themed decor. It was cozy, comfortable, and gave everyone room to spread out.

Dining was super convenient as well. The various restaurants offered everything from quick bites to more complete meals, so we always had options that suited our family. We appreciated that there were healthy options available, alongside kid-friendly favorites. Breakfast with the characters was a big hit and made our mornings extra special.

What really stood out was how family-oriented the entire experience was. Everything was designed to keep children entertained while making it easy for parents to join in on the fun or take a step back and relax. The staff were friendly, engaging, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The newness of the Perryville lodge was evident—everything was sparkling clean and the entire property felt fresh.

We would highly recommend the Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville for any family looking for an unforgettable getaway. It’s a perfect place to let loose, bond with your family, and create lasting memories. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
