Bruschetta Whipped Feta Dip
Let’s talk feta!
I’ve explored vegan feta, homemade tofu feta, but there is something about traditional feta that’s hard to replicate. that being said, it’s not strange that the feta pasta concept blew up last year, as it’s just so versatile. Feta was actually less popular years ago. I think the first time I ever explored feta was perhaps back in 2007 or 2009 as it wasn’t common on restaurant menus.
While I’ve still yet to try the viral feta pasta, I was much more intrigued with the whipped feta concept! Typically feta is in a brick, crumbly and can be messy no matter what you’re eating it with. However, putting it into a whipped form I find it’s easier to enjoy and you can even impart flavor into it whereas the bricks you can’t.
When thinking of the best flavor I thought we could play it safe and just throw in some dried herbs like most people were doing. However, I knew but I knew it would be fun to put a modern spin on it, and just like that the Bruschetta Whipped Feta was born!
What’s great about this dip? Everything! It’s quick, easy, affordable, you can make this vegan if desired, you can modify the consistency, its perfect for any season, you can serve it with crackers if desired, it’s great for entertaining, the flavors all pair well together, it’s sweet, savory, and a must try!
