The holiday season is in full swing, so I’ve collected my top favorite 4 items this year to bring the best of the best. As a mom of 2, your essentials become less and less lol. You know what works, what you need and what’s just extra. This year, I’ve whittled down my usually lengthy guides to just my top favorite 4.

Review:

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love KB. Prior to finishing my degree we focused heavily on skincare reviews. I sampled countless skincare products and have a good grasp for products that work. I can confidently say, her products have provided the most significant results. I’ve explore more affordable brands, more expensive, and the list goes on. The quality behind her brand is just palpable.

I’ve been using this line for well over a year and all of the products provided amazing results. I’ve never witnessed that before. Generally one line has a single product that fits into your routine, but I really gravitated towards them all. Whether it’s the eye cream, the face cream, the oil serum, everything works together to truly transform the skin.

I’ve tried endless eye creams throughout the years and have never found anything that gave visible results, until I tried Kb! I tried the rose hip serum with the eye cream and the combination of the two have really made my eyes look more vibrant and awake, and are just pure magic together. If you’re just looking for an eye cream, their eye cream alone can still give you amazing results.

The eye cream is less thick than others I’ve try, but don’t let that fool you, the hydration factor is just the same. I typically use heavier eye creams, but I found those I have to reapply and they can even clog your tear ducts or make you break out. The KB eye cream is effective and doesn’t need to be reapplied, which I love. I’ve never used an additional eye serum in my beauty routine, but I promise it’s worth it.

As someone with dry skin, I’ve explored a myriad of face creams. I’ve done heavier creams that can over saturate the skin, make you break out, and your skin still looks dull. However, the KB Bio Cream is hydrating, but light, concentrated, evens the skin tone, and gives you a natural glow without drying out the skin. Worried about the price point? The have a smaller size portion! The look and feel of it reminds me of a gel versus the typical cream based, but don’t let it fool you, it hydrates! My favorite part about all their products? A little goes a long way and just like the eye cream, the results are visible.

The oil serum is free of fragrance and hydrating where you don’t have to continue to reapply. With many others I’ve had to do that. Some skip on the oil, but I promise you, it locks everything in and I wouldn’t go without it. If you’re looking for a acid peel mask, theirs is hands down my favorite. It’s light, brightening, not harsh on the skin and a little goes a long way. One of the additional winning factors about KB, is that all products are concentrated where a little goes a long way. One jar of anything from the line, typically lasts a year.  Everyone has different skin needs, but I promise you, KB delivers. Review: 

Over the years I’ve tried countless duvet comforters and covers. From expensive to affordable and everything in between. We all have our preferences, but I’ve been on the search for a down alternative. Typical down is comprised of goose feathers and the production of such an item is really unethical if you look into it. Whether you’re looking for a more ethical down alternative or just an amazing comforter, the Ettitude brand delivers. I’ve generally seen that most down comforters are bulky, the feathers can poke you at times, and the filling can clump making it uneven and they are just underwhelming. The Ettitude down alternative is completely opposite of that. The comforter is light, the material is soft, there are no feathers whatsoever, the filling doesn’t clump, the inside even attaches to the cover so it stays put, and warm yet not overwhelmingly hot. I chose a larger size to ensure that I had ample amount of comforter since my husband and I can fight over covers lol. I also selected the warmer option as I’m typically cold at night. I can honestly say, that the combination of that really made a huge difference.

In addition to the comforter, the cover was equally as impressive. The material is silky smooth and eclipses the quality of any other cover I’ve explored. Think the cover makes no difference? It completely does! Even if you have the most comfortable comforter, if it’s packaged in something that is rough and not good quality it loses it’s value. If you’re exploring a down alternative I highly recommend theirs and also pairing it with the cover. The combination of the 2 makes a huge difference. When I wake in the morning, I honestly just want to stay in it as it’s completely transformed our bed.

Review: 

Believer it or not, a good air humidifier is everything. There are companies that offer even more expensive options and there are of course even more affordable options. I’ve tried all of the above and felt that the Carepod truly was and is the best option. A cheaper humidifier doesn’t emit enough mist to fill a room, sometimes needs filters, and most of all the cleaning is way too tedious. With the Carepod humidifiers you can skip all the labor induced cleanings, because it’s so seamless! You simply take out the metal tin, rinse and wipe and boom, you’re good to run it again. The mist factor is very powerful, I also love the aesthetics of them, the mist options are great and bottom line, it still works over a year later! I can’t even count the number of times that I’ve had a humidifier just stop working. Worried about the price tag? If you calculate the amount you’ve wasted on devices that expire that you can’t return, you’ll honestly be investing less. If you’re searching for a humidifier that is gorgeous, has tons of  mist, and is easier than any other device to clean, you have to try the Carepod’s!

 

 

 

 

Rewined

This company needs no introduction as they’ve been around for nearly 9 years. I stumbled across them back in 2013 and instantly fell in love. Their candle vessels were initially created from used wine bottles, but they launched a new design and I’m just enamored with Refined!

Unlike most candles, their scents are unique, strong and they last.  I’ve used them through so many of lifes milestones such as our wedding or bringing home our first born and the scents just invoke so m much nostalgia for us.

Bonus, while I don’t drink all the candle names are after various adult beverages such as sangria and champagne and the scents are just so captivating! A solid price point, aesthetically appealing, and scents that take your breath away, I can’t recommend them enough!

I found that each unique blend is just perfection. While everyone has their scent preferences, I promise, your biggest challenge will be finding a Rewined scent you don’t gravitate towards because they all are a win.
