Vegan Cinnamon Apple Danish’s

When it comes to a weekend brunch, I love a good muffin and a vegan danish! When I hear the word danish, I cringe at thinking of making homemade pastry dough. While at NYU I did a class on laminating dough (adding butter to the dough) and it was just very long and drawn out that by the time you were making anything with it you were already over it lol.

That being said, I’ve yet to explore making a vegan pastry dough.

(stay tuned)

While I initially gave up the idea of countless pastry concepts I FINALLY discovered that you can buy store bought pastry dough that’s vegan at just about every retailer in the U.S. (yahtzee), and the rest is history.

What’s fab about danish’s is that they are nostalgic, easy, have aesthetic appeal, you can tailor the flavoring of the danish to cater to your tastebuds and the season, the dough is accessible, the ingredients are typically minimal, and will make you look like an iron chef at your next brunch!

If you love brunch concepts or classic pastries, you have to try my staple vegan Cinnamon Apple Danish’s!!
