Sugar Free Strawberry Basil Lemonade

Hello & Happy Monday!!

I meant to get this recipe out before the weekend, but with 2 under 2, life happens lol. When it comes to summer, I love a good beverage recipe. Prior to kids I loved a good adult beverage on a hot summer day, but today, it’s all about a fab homemade lemonade with stevia lol!

Sounds boring right? I swear it’s so good! Stay with me!

Last year I explored a variety of fun festive lemonades, so this year I was dreaming of the next recipe. Believe it or not, we had yet to do a strawberry lemonade. I love this blend as the strawberries lend a gorgeous color, natural sugar, and you just can’t go wrong with it.

However, I wanted to put a modern spin on it like I always do, and the Sugar Free Strawberry Basil Lemonade was born!

If you’ve never explored herbs with fruit, you haven’t lived! I’ve been do this since about 2014 and it’s such a game changer. While you’d envision herbs that used in more savory dishes to skew the flavor in a sweet concept, it absolutely does not. You can easily add thyme, rosemary and of course basil to countless concepts and really add a depth of flavor that is just memorable.

In terms of typical lemonades, they are laden with at least 1-2 cups of sugar or more. While you can use maple syrup or honey, I personally love adding a lil stevia to lemonades as it pairs will with the tart citrus flavor profiles. Not a fan of stevia? Me neither! So that speaks volumes that I prefer it with lemonades!

What’s fab about this lemonade? Everything! It’s quick, easy, affordable, vibrant, packs flavor you can even leave the fiber if desired, you can make it into an adult beverage if desired, it has notes of basil, can easily be made in bulk, perfect for summer, perfect for entertaining, and sugar free!

If you love all things lemonade, you have to try this new Sugar Free Strawberry Basil Lemonade!
