When it comes to flavor, I’m all about the chocolate and tahini

 

There is something about this combination that really goes together seamlessly. Throw in some salt, and you have a punch of flavor that cane be used in just about any baked good! Cookies, cakes, pudding, you name it, this flavor is a go. If you haven’t explored this concept, don’t stress! I hate jumping on food trends, but this one is here to stay and I promise.. it’s worth your time!

 

When thinking of the next best thing, I knew we had to do a bread! Just like that, the new vegan Salted Tahini Chocolate Chip Bread was born! 

 

 

 

 

 


 

What’s the great thing about this bread? Everything! It’s quick, easy, affordable, buttery soft, can easily be made in bulk, can be frozen, requires minimal ingredients, doesn’t even need a flax egg, is oil free, vegan, packs notes of espresso, salt and tahini, is perfect for any season, perfect for chocolate lovers, great for brunch, and truly a timeless flavor!

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl combine your cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder white flour, white sugar. Be sure to not pack your flour.
  3. In a bowl combine your room temp almond milk and tahini, whisk to combine. Make sure it’s the liquid tahini, not the solid so much. If it starts to clump pop in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds and combine. Repeat if needed.
  4. Add your wet to the dry ingredients and gently combine. Don’t over mix.
  5. Add the batter to a well greased loaf pan or line with parchment paper for easier removal. Smooth out the top and garnish with the stevia sweetened chocolate chips. Place a tin foil tent over the top of the pan for half the baking time, then remove.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted in the middle and comes out clean. Garnish with flake salt once removed from the oven and allow to fully cool before slicing.
