Let’s talk polenta! While I’m big on polenta fries, many have never even tried or heard of them and I can see why. Dining out today, they are still not frequently seen on menus. If you ever do come across them though I highly recommend.
There is something about polenta fries that is just memorable. Whether it be the taste, the texture, or that they pair so well with a sauce, I was just instantly hooked.
So what is polenta? It’s similar to grits, both derived from cornmeal, but polenta is solely yellow corn while grits is white corn. You can bake it or fry it, but whatever way you enjoy it, it’s so good!
What’s fab about this dish? Everything. It’s quick, easy, affordable, mess free, features less oil, is packed with flavor, pairs well with countless dishes, perfect for any season, great for entertaining, and can easily be made in bulk!
